Our specialists are here to repair, calibrate, install, and supply your business with the scales and flow meters needed to keep you moving forward. We carry a wide range of products and brands and work with industries from petrochemical to food processing and healthcare.

OUR COMPANY TIMELINE

1980
Metering and Weighing Specialists, Inc. was founded by Richard "Dick" Heller. What began as a small operation and a dream soon grew into a trusted name in the industry.
2012
Mr. Heller began mentoring Donny Barnes Jr., sharing his extensive knowledge about scales, meters, and their complexities. This collaboration marked the beginning of a new chapter for the company.

2022
After flooding destroyed the original office and shop on Industriplex, the company relocated to Commerce Avenue, ensuring continued service to its customers.

Lumio, previously called Foenix, was a social media analytics company that helped brands like Audi, David Jones and Red Balloon source legitimate influencers for social media campaigns.

APRIL 2024
Donny Barnes Jr. and his wife, Diana, purchased Metering and Weighing Specialists, Inc. from Mr. Heller, ushering in a new era of leadership and innovation.

The company launched its Mobile Flow Meter Calibration Services, expanding its offerings and reinforcing its commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions for its clients.

Whilst in Germany, Dan worked with with brands such as Daniel Wellington and BMW - Ja!

Adam worked with clients like Vodafone, TAFE NSW, Adobe and also won the 'Good Design Australia' award for his work on the Seatfrog website.
